| Packaging recycling essential |
| South Africa recycles approximately 30% of its polyethylene. This is an encouraging percentage and is only possible, in part, through easy identification of the polymers used. Peckpak GDK continues its drive to encourage its customers to accept the Polymer Identification Code on their retail packaging. Packaging materials can be diffficult to identify, particularly with the growing range of supposedly "green" plastics entering the recycling market. This makes it all the more important to display the recycling logo and the packaging. |
